Our Founders

Our roots go back to the 1970s, when rural communities came together to create their own water solutions. Local residents, with support from county councils and government departments, built the foundations of the schemes we continue to manage today.

Governance & Membership

We hold an Annual General Meeting where members elect a Board of Management and committee. The society is supported by a part-time Manager and operates under the rules of the Register of Friendly Societies.

Source Protection & Monitoring of Leaks

Our water is sourced from a borehole, treated, and monitored with modern systems. The treatment plant manages around 90 cubic meters daily and is continuously assessed for quality and safety.

We’ve implemented leak detection technology and a mobile app to ensure efficient response and monitoring across our 12 distribution zones.
